Tonight I found myself hankering after something a little bit extra after dinner. So I whipped up a delicious yogurt treat.
So instead of the large bar of chocolate and lollies I would have previously devoured, here’s my recipe for a delicious nutritious after dinner snack.
> a large dollop of Greek yoghurt
> a handful of mixed nuts
> a sprinkling of chia seeds
> a spoonful of peanut butter
> a generous helping of frozen berries
> and finally a cheeky square or two of dark chocolate. I like 85%+. (I know it has a little too much sugar in but you have to live a little and it’s completely optional.)
Pop all the ingredients apart from the chocolate in a bowl. I personally used the chocolate as a spoon!
I find the frozen berries add an almost frozen yogurt aspect to the dish. And the nuts add that little bit of crunch which I find is often missing in many yoghurt dishes.
